Genome-wide identification of NAC gene family and expression analysis under abiotic stresses in Salvia miltiorrhiza

چکیده
NAC (NAM, ATAF, CUC) is a class of transcription factors involved in plant growth regulation, abiotic stress responses, morphogenesis and metabolism. Salvia miltiorrhiza an important Chinese medicinal herb, but the characterization genes this species limited. In study, based on genomic databases, 82 were identified, which divided into 14 groups. Meanwhile, phylogenetic analysis, gene structure, chromosomal localization potential role SmNACs conditions also studied. The results revealed that some had different structures than others, advised these may have multiple/distinct functions. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) analysis showed exhibited differential expression patterns under salt drought stress. NaCl induced salinity treatments modulated several SmNAC more roots compared with leaves. Conversely, conditions, upregulated leaves roots. These will be useful for further study functional characteristics genes, especially response to stresses, thereby facilitate genetic breeding miltiorrhiza.

Genome-wide analysis of auxin response factor gene family members in medicinal model plant Salvia miltiorrhiza
Auxin response factors (ARFs) can function as transcriptional activators or repressors to regulate the expression of auxin response genes by specifically binding to auxin response elements (AuxREs) during plant development. Based on a genome-wide strategy using the medicinal model plant Salvia miltiorrhiza, 25 S. miltiorrhiza ARF (SmARF) gene family members in four classes (class Ia, IIa, IIb a...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Comprehensive Analysis the Molecular Phylogenetic Evaluation and Tissue-Specific Expression of SABATH Gene Family in Salvia miltiorrhiza
The plant SABATH gene family is a group of O-methyltransferases (O-MTs), which belongs to the S-adenosyl-l-methionine-dependent methyltransferases (SAM-MTs). The resulting reaction products of SABATH genes play an important role in various processes of plant development. In this study, a total of 30 SABATH genes were detected in Salvia miltiorrhiza, which is an important medicinal plant, widely...

NAC (NAM, no apical meristem; ATAF, Arabidopsis transcription activation factor and CUC, cup-shaped cotyledon) proteins are among the largest transcription factor (TF) families playing fundamental biological processes, including cell expansion and differentiation, and hormone signaling in response to biotic and abiotic stresses. In this study, 172 RsNACs comprising 17 membrane-bound members wer...
متن کاملGenome-wide Analysis of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxylase Gene Family and Their Response to Abiotic Stresses in Soybean
Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) plays an important role in assimilating atmospheric CO2 during C4 and crassulacean acid metabolism photosynthesis, and also participates in various non-photosynthetic processes, including fruit ripening, stomatal opening, supporting carbon-nitrogen interactions, seed formation and germination, and regulation of plant tolerance to stresses. However, a compr...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Identification and Expression Profiling of Tomato Hsp20 Gene Family in Response to Biotic and Abiotic Stresses
The Hsp20 genes are involved in the response of plants to environment stresses including heat shock and also play a vital role in plant growth and development. They represent the most abundant small heat shock proteins (sHsps) in plants, but little is known about this family in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), an important vegetable crop in the world. Here, we characterized heat shock protein 20 ...
